Beyond the Frame

We were subject to superstition

And measured by myth

We had big ideas

But a small town address

So we went drifting from the center

Like a couple of lazy ghosts

Trying to scare up

Enough fortune for us both

You could lie to me

And I’d still believe

Oh youth can be so misleading

But I will follow you

Like disciplines do

Beyond the frame

We were tempted to trespass

Into hearts unknown

Lured by a love

That we wanted to call our own

But there's no hazard like hello

On life's narrow road

So use caution when deciding

Which way to go
